Cafe Presse has a new Chef de Cuisine

New Cafe Presse Chef de Cuisine Andre “Dre” Neeley.

Since it opened in 2007, the kitchens at Cafe Presse have been under the day to day direction of Chef de Cuisine Jessi Aaenson. Jessi has done a fantastic job and has been instrumental in Cafe Presse’s success. It is with sadness, therefore, that we announce that Jessi is moving on to pursue a new career and her own business helping people establish and maintain health lifestyles. Thanks so much for all you have done for Cafe Presse, Jessi! We will miss you.

At the same time, we are very pleased that Sous-chef Andre “Dre” Neeley will be stepping into Jessi’s shoes. Dre attended university in Atlanta Georgia before working in the kitchen at the venerable Cliff House restaurant in Browns Point Washington, as well as at Vios Café and Market Place and Barrio Mexican Kitchen, both in Seattle. He was the opening Executive Chef at Captain Black’s on Capitol Hill and also co-owned and operated a boutique catering company with his wife. Dre joined the team at Café Presse in 2010 as Sous-Chef and now steps into this new challenge. Dre will work with Executive Chef Jim Drohman to insure the quality of all culinary aspects of what we do at Cafe Presse.
